Hi there! I’m Myzen Quicay, a preferred licensed classroom teacher who made the conscious decision to pursue a full-time career in teaching English online. I strongly believe that through online teaching, I can reach a wider audience of students who are genuinely interested in learning the English language.
For the past three years, I have dedicated myself to online English instruction, gaining valuable experience and refining my teaching skills in this digital setting. My specialization lies in teaching Daily English, Business English, and English for Special Purposes, including Interview English. This expertise enables me to cater to the specific needs and goals of my students, empowering them to communicate effectively in real-life situations.
In addition to my teaching experience, I hold certifications in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and TEYL (Teaching English to Young Learners) from Teach International Australia. These certifications have provided me with a solid foundation in language teaching methodologies and specialized techniques to engage both young learners and adult students effectively. Although I specialized in handling adult learners, I also have vast experience in handling kids from Pre K onwards. This has allowed me to develop a versatile teaching style that adapts to the unique requirements of each age group.
During my free time, I find joy in hiking with my family and friends. Exploring nature and embracing the beauty of the outdoors allows me to rejuvenate and find inspiration. It also reinforces my belief in the importance of holistic development and the value of experiential learning.
